I woke up early (6am) and found it snowing. I took advantage of the time and scrambled out to my favorite spot in Saline County, Swan Creek Reservoir. It was a slow drive due to visibility. But getting there was worth it. The quietness with small sounds of snow and ice pellets hitting all around, and here and there the birds were chirping. There were lots of cardinals out there. Afterward, I was nice and picked up donuts for the rest of my family that slept in (it was 9:10 when I got home).
